DESCRIPTION
The String Along shawl is an asymmetric triangle shawl that is worked from one corner to the other using short rows and increases which shape and elongate gradually as you work. The stitch increase happens at the beginning of every right side row and incrementally on the wrong side row, which helps in creating an even, steady shape. The slip stitch texture, worked in alternate colors, is a unique way of moving from one color to the next. An i-cord edge finish along all the edges of the shawl not only gives you a nice, clean finish but also helps to carry and hide the non-working color yarns inside. This means no breaking yarns and no extra ends to weave.

Approx. 90 in / 229 cm wide x 25 in / 64 cm deep

GAUGE
Approx. 25 sts x 44 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Garter stitch knit flat after blocking.
