String of Beads Shawl
The shawl ends up being a perfectly symmetrical triangular shape although the pattern starts at one corner and the rows gradually increase in length, finishing at the other corner and centre point of the shawl. The lacy, open bead stitch section produces a delicate texture, separated by sections of treble crochet/double crochet stitches.
There is a link to a You Tube video in the pattern which shows how to make bead stitches the same way I did them.
The yellow and black shawl is made using a Scheepjes Whirl - colour Dandelion Munchies. The blue and lilac shawl is made using a Hobbii Twister - colour Iris. The Twister was quite a bit overweight so this shawl is very slightly bigger than the pattern as I did an extra pattern repeat and an extra row on the border.
You will need almost all of the 1000m so it might be an idea to weigh your chosen yarn before you start.
