This pattern is the basic stitch pattern to create a scarf of the length of your choosing. You may use any size yarn/hook as you desire. I strongly recommend using either a Sport (#2) or DK (#3) weight to allow for optimal draping

This scarf will take roughly 3 yds per inch of length.

Use a crochet hook suitable to your chosen yarn.
