Crocheted String of Hearts plant!

For the lighter green plant, I used “Forest” from Loops & Threads Impeccable for the stem and leaves, and for the darker one I used “Hunter Green” from Lion Pound of Love; I also used “Soft Rose”, also from Loops & Threads Impeccable, to outline each leaf in pink. You can use any brand of worsted or Aran weight yarn you like in green and pink. Or, leave out the pink outline if you prefer.

I made 6 vines total: 2 vines with 4 sets of 2 leaves; 3 vines with 3 sets of 2 leaves; And 1 vine with 2 sets of 2 leaves. You can make as many vines, of whatever length you choose

I also made a soil patch which I sewed all my vines onto, using “Coffee”, “Black”, “Mushroom” & “Warm Brown” Red Heart Super Saver. You can use any 4 brown Aran or worsted weight yarns for the soil patch.

I placed the finished plant into a crocheted planter pot, but this is optional, you can use any container you like to place your plant. You can find a crocheted planter pot pattern in my designs if you choose.
