String of Purls was inspired by one of my favorite succulents String of Pearls. I love the way the wrapped stitches are reminiscent of the pearl buds on the plant. String of Purls is a single skein fingering weight cowl that only has 5 rows to memorize, most of it is ribbing! This soft and squishy cowl is perfect for a Plant Parent in your life.

The stitches in this cowl are slightly more advanced then some of my other cowl patterns but if you read through all the instructions you shouldn’t’ have any problems! I can’t wait to see what colors your ‘purls’ are!

NEEDLES
US 4 (3.5 mm) 16” circular (40 cm)

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker
Cable Needle

GAUGE
24 stitches x 32 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in blocked stockinette

Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge if necessary!
