Striped Baby Blanket Knitting Pattern

This pattern is suitable for knitters of all experience but absolute beginners may need a little guidance.

The pattern uses a double knitting pure cotton yarn and we chose the lovely Erika Knight Gossypium Cotton which is has a soft and luxurious feel to it. The pattern takes just under 150g of each colour way and there is enough left over to make up a matching cotton washcloth. The pattern for the washcloth is included free as a bonus gift from us, along with the main pattern for the blanket and detailed chart for the BABY motif along the centre stripe. The blanket size is approximately 22 inches x 26 inches.

Cotton blankets are kind to baby’s delicate skin and are less likely to irritate or cause allergies.
