This is a nice, basic crocheted hat for older kids, teens and adults. Though sizes are given, you can go down a hook size or two to make this for younger kids. You can use this as a two-color team hat, using colors for your favorite teams, or you can crochet this in one solid color. I also have a similar knit version that can be made for sports teams.

I designed this hat with ribbed brim. This is produced using front post and back post crochet techniques, and it’s a bit stretchy as a result. Please make sure to swatch and check gauge.
