You just need to know basic stitches, how to knit in the round, simple color changing, simple cable, and simple increase and decrease to work on this hat.

The sample was knitted in 2 color of local acrylic yarn light DK weight, but feel free to use any yarn that fit the gauge. You can use variegated colors too!
