What is more comforting than a Christmas Stocking knit by a loved one. Make a stocking for you and everyone you know with this classic stocking pattern.

The stocking features a ribbed cuff, German short row heel, and an easy to make toe.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Size: Top of cuff to bottom of heel: 16 inches.
Back of heel to tip of toe: 12 inches.
Width of leg: 7 inches

Yarn: Aran weight yarn in 3 colors.
For this pattern I used Caron One Pound Yarn (454g /812yd) in Claret (Red), Bright White, and Kelly Green
MC: Red: 85g/ 152 yds
CC1: White: 22g/40 yds
CC2: Green: 17g/ 31 yds

Needles: US Size 8/ 5 mm or size to get gauge.

Gauge: 17 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch. Gauge is not essential for this project but can affect how much yarn needed to complete project.
