It is tricky making circles this way and getting them completely round. The bigger the circle the more round it appears. The edging helps to make the circles rounder and the pattern includes instructions for making the edging wider.

Any weight of yarn can be used. The amount needed will depend on the size and the yarn you choose.

Your circles don’t have to be striped. Experiment with different ways of colouring.
