Pattern includes sizes for newborn up through adult. There are 2 different adult sizes, one for women and one for men.

Any worsted weight yarn can be used for this pattern, just be sure to check your gauge, as some yarns are not as thick as others.

I recommend a pom pom maker. If you do not have a pom pom maker, there are video tutorials on YouTube that can show you how to make a pom pom using a piece of cardboard or other items.

You will want at least 2 different colors, but play with the pattern, use as many different colors as you want!

You can add ears instead of pom poms for a darling baby hat!

I’ve also included a hat made without any pom poms or ears, most men probably don’t want the pom poms!
