I’ve seen many patterns for this type of helmet but they all require more seaming than I prefer.

This helmet utilizes short rows so there is only one invisible seam at the back of the hat.
But because it is invisible, it really doesn’t need to be the back. :)

This pattern is also a great way to use up small amounts of yarn as it only took 50m of each color.
