About the design:

The sweater is knit from the bottom up as a slightly oversized model with raglan sleeves. The length is easy to adjust depending on the size of the intended recipient.
The model only requires minimal finishing.

Finished measurements:

Sizes 1 (2) 4 (6) 8 years
Chest: Approx. 62 (67) 72 (76) 80 cm.
Length of body/inside sleeve length: Approx. 21.5 (25.5) 28 (32) 36 cm.

Suggested yarn:

Lamauld from CaMaRose 100m/50g.
Colours used in the pictured sample:
Colour 1 (main colour) Ash grey 6001: 3 (3) 4 (4) 5 skeins.
Colour 2 (first stripe) Medium grey 6080: 1 (1) 1 (1) 2 skeins.
Additional stripes from the bottom up, 1 skein each of: Colour 3 Moss green 6743, Colour 4 Jeans blue 6831, and Colour 5 Burnt curry 6989.

Alternative yarn:

As an alternative the sweater can be knit using two strands of Yaku from CaMaRose, 100% merino wool, 200m / 50 g.

Suggested needle size:

Circular needle size 4.5 mm and 5.0 mm, 40 and 60 cm.
Double pointed needles size 4.0 mm and 5.0 mm.

Gauge:

17 sts and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on size 5.0 mm needles.
