These little knitted mittens are a cute way to decorate your tree for Christmas. These mini mittens are knitted in stripes, and decorated with a stockinette or garter stitch bow. This pattern is worked flat on single pointed needles to make it easier for beginner knitters, but you could easily convert it to knitting in the round if you prefer. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, these mittens are knitted in acrylic DK yarns.

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and 4mm crochet hook or two 4mm DPNs to make the hanging loops.

SIZES
One size only - The mitten is 9cm tall (not including the hanging loop).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, m1 increase and k2tog decrease, and a little seaming to finish.
