Striped Ribbed Beanie
THE DESIGN
“A bit of striping, a bit of ribbing—a bunch of cozy!”
This free pattern blends the sportiness of stripes with the snug squish of ribbing to create a cozy, classic beanie! Our design uses a clever little trick to smooth up the stripes within the ribbing texture—an all-knit row (instead of the K2/P2 ribbing) as you change colors crisps up that definition!
We knit the Striped Ribbed Beanie in two colors of Shibui Haven, a DK-weight blend of extra fine merino and cashmere. This lovely yarn produces a lightweight, pillowy fabric that emanates soft and cozy! In this simple, striped hat, Haven fulfills our deep-seated love of cuddling up.
