Striped Salamander
Born from my love of geckos but wanting something a little brighter to fill a gap in my book shelf!
This pattern uses mainly single crochet with increases and decrease but also relies on using short rounds (or rows) which I had to do some research on and did struggle with until I got it right in the design. Personally with the short rounds I’d say the difficulty is about moderate to hard.
Finished it’s about 4 inches wide, 9 inches from head to where the tail turns, and 2.5 inches tall with the tail arc around 3 inches.
Embroidery for the eyes and eyelid is basically wrapping around stitches till it’s the right size but safety eyes are also an option!
