Striped Sock Earrings
by Sandy Marie
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Striped Sock Earrings are the cutest earrings you’ll ever make. It doesn’t matter if you’re thinking of Raggedy Ann, something fun for the Holiday Season, or the Wicked Witch of the West from Wizard of Oz, these earrings will make you smile. And, when you make your own, you can pick what ever colors you want.
I used #5 Pearl Cotton in standard Red and White. You’ll need, earrings wires, a small scissors, and a needle nose pliers (to put the sock on the earring wire). I also used an I/9 hook to push the threads inside and shape the sock, and a plastic yarn needle to help lift some of the stitches.
The pearl cotton I bought was in skeins of 27 yards. You’ll have enough to make 3 - 4 pairs.
