This garter stitch striped sweater is knit sideways (from cuff-to-cuff) and in one piece. The pattern includes both schematics and written instructions, and the 5 featured sizes span from 34 to 42 inches in bust circumference.

Applied techniques:

• Provisional cast-on (crochet method)
• Mitered corners for neckline shaping
• Elizabeth Zimmermann’s garter stitch phoney seam across the top of the shoulders
• Body sides and sleeves seamed together with one continuous line of crochet chain (performed on the outside of the garment)
