Striped Suzette Stitch Baby Blanket
Learn how to crochet the suzette stitch! This is a lovely stitch made simply from single crochet and double crochet stitches, and the texture is just gorgeous! It would shine in a variegated yarn, although I think it looks so lovely with chunky stripes.
If you look closely you’ll notice one block of blue stitches is smaller than the other. I’m a huge fan of stashbusting crochet patterns, and I ran out of the blue sooner than expected! Well rather than pull out most of the blanket to redo it, I decided it would be the quirk of this handmade gift.
All of the yarns from my stash were worsted weight, but the green and yellow yarns were a slightly thinner worsted.
Unfortunately I do not have gauge information nor total yardage available for this pattern. I used approximately 5 skeins from my stash for this blanket.
I strongly suggest using stitch markers at the end of each row so there is no guesswork involved. This makes for wonderful mindless crocheting!
