Mixing self striping yarn with other is interesting. Particularly when the other yarn is self striping too. For this hat I mixed two skeins of the same brand and type. It worked out beautifully.

The hat is for an average size head. It stretches and will fit many sizes. The height of the hat is 8.7 inch / 22 cm, the circumference when laid down flat is 19.3 inch / 49 cm.

What you need is four double pointed knitting needles number 6 (US 10) and 53 yd / 48 m / 30 g yarn each in two different colors.
