I was using a bright red-orange Noro sock yarn, but the colors were too much. I tamed them by fencing them in with a solid color. As a result, I found the brilliant reds very pleasing, and the sock was fun to knit. An added advantage is the row repeats helped keep each sock the same.

This simple pattern is designed for those who already know how to knit socks. You choose your colors, along with your heel and toe construction. The solid-colored stripes are a repeat of 2 rounds, and the Noro is a repeat of 5 rounds.
