This is an easy pattern for a baby (toddler, child or adult) striped beret. I strongly recomend it for beginners who try to get comfortable with circular needles. You can easily adjust the pattern to an adult size beret, by increasing all sts evenly from 42 (CO edge) to 62 (that would give you a total of 120 sts on round 10).
