Stripes Collision Tunic
Worked from the center out, unique construction and thoughtful details vie for best in show in the Stripes Collision Tunic. Keyhole openings on both front and back add interest, while the split hem give ease of movement. This mitered masterpiece uses a nice blend of lambswool and linen, perfect for the lazy days of summer.

NOTES
-
Front and back are worked separately from the center neck slit outward in a three-sided granny-square fashion.
-
Main pattern alternates two right-side (RS) rows (double crochet dc in main color MC and single crochet sc in coordinating color CC) with two wrong-side rows (double crochet dc in main color MC and single crochet sc in coordinating color CC).
-
Hem border is worked in mosaic crochet technique maintaining same alternating of two right-side with two wrong-side rows, but colors are reversed.
-
To decrease 2 double crochets in center section, work a double crochet two together (dc2tog), e.g., 10 stitches after first marker (m) and 10 stitches (sts) before next marker (m). On following decrease rows, stagger the double crochet two together (dc2tog) to make it less obvious by, e.g., working more or fewer stitches after/before the marker (m).
