Stripes for Spring
I wanted to make a lightweight striped hat for my husband using some leftover sportweight yarn. When I couldn’t find any pattern I liked I decided to design one myself.
This hat is perfect for using up leftovers. I used 31 grams of my main colour and 10 grams of my contrasting colour. If you buy new yarn for this project one skein of each colour is enough.
The pattern contains links to tutorials for techniques I used, such as Latvian cast on, how to join in the round in a great way plus how to make the stripes pretty. These techniques are of course optional and they are not included in the written pattern.
One thing I forgot to write in the pattern is that I twisted the knit stitches in the ribbing, knitting into the back loop.
