Once in a while, great knitting inspiration hits. This time it was in the middle of “Meet the Teacher Night” at my child’s school. Inspiration struck while looking at one of the decorated boards in the room. I loved how the board played with the different line thicknesses and how well they went together. I should have been listening, but I was distracted and instead designing this sweater in my head. So I got to work and here is the result!

Next I needed to find the perfect yarn. Anzula’s For Better or Worsted yarn was it! It knits up like dream! I love how it feels like I am wrapped in a big hug whenever I put on this cozy sweater!

Sweater is knit flat on straight needles. The techniques used are rib, stockinette stitch, increases, decreases, and picking up stitches.
