Stripey V Tee
This basic raglan tee draws on two classic design elements — a deep V neckline and stripes — to create a wardrobe staple. Knit it in cotton for a lightweight summer garment, or use wool for a cozier autumn sweater. This tee is knit top-down, so you can easily customize the length to be perfect for your style.

73.5(83, 94, 104, 114)(124.5, 134,5, 144.5, 155) cm
Finished Garment Bust Measurements
35(39, 43, 47, 51)(55, 59, 61.5, 65.5)”
89.5(99.5, 109.5, 120, 130)(140, 150.5, 156.5, 166.5) cm
Ease
3-6” (7.5 - 15 cm) of positive ease built-in.
You should choose a finished bust measurement that gives you this ease.
The sample has 6” (15 cm) of positive ease. This will produce a loose, flowy garment suitable for layering over a bralette or tank. If you’d prefer a more fitted tee, choose a size with a finished bust measurement closer to 3” larger than your bust size.
Gauge
20 stitches and 28 rows per 4”/ 10cm on main needle in stockinette stitch, lightly blocked.
Yarn
Approximately 480(500, 576, 647, 800)(822, 925, 980, 1094) yards or 438(457, 524, 589, 731)(748, 842, 892, 996)meters of any DK weight yarn that achieves gauge
** This sample was knit holding two strands of Holst Garn’s Coast(a laceweight yarn) together to achieve a DK weight. You would need this yardage for both strands.*
If you use the stripe motif featured in the sample, you’ll use approximately:

Construction
This raglan tee is knit from the top down. It is knit flat until the V Neck is deep enough, then joined in the round. It is separated for the sleeves and armpit, which are knit to length separately. An i-cord bind-off is used around both the sleeves and the bottom of the body. An applied i-cord is added to the V neck edge.
