This knitting pattern has instructions for the following sizes:
6-8lbs, 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m, 1-2 yrs, 3-5yrs, 6-9yrs
This hat is worked flat with any 4 Ply yarn (or sport yarn) that knits on 3.25mm (US3) needles to the tension listed below. The little beanie shown here was knitted in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino.

10cms/4 inches = 25-26 sts
10cms/4 inches = 34-35 rows
Size / Hat Circumference flat and stretched
6-8 lbs / 27-30cms (10 3/4 -12ins)
0-3 months / 30-34cms (12-13 1/2ins)
3- 6 months. / 34-38cms (13 1/2-15ins)
6-12 months / 38-42cms (15-16 1/2ins)
1-2 years / 42-46cms (16 1/2- 18ins)
3-5 years /46-50cms (18-19 1/2ins)
6-9 years / 50-58cms (19 1/2- 20 3/4ins)

A pair of 3.25mm (US3) single pointed needles

Col 1 (ear-warmers & trim) = 10 (12, 15. 17, 20, 22, 27) gm
Col 2 (lighter stripe) = 13 (15, 18, 20, 23, 25, 30) gm
Col 3 (darker stripe) = 13 (15, 18, 20, 23, 25, 30) gm
