Basic stripy scrappy cardigan & hat

Now as for the outfit:
Cardigan is worked in to-down method and is made without side seams. The only seams are under arms in the sleeves. The entire set may be knit in a flat using 2 regular needles. This pattern is written for the most common easy to find yarn weight.
