Stripy Sock Yarn Spider
This cute little spider can be made out of your leftover self-striping sock yarn, and can be finished in a couple of hours.
No seaming is required. The body is knit in one piece, and the i-cord legs are picked up and knit directly onto the spider’s body.
The pattern includes written instructions and photos illustrating where and how to pick up for the spider legs.
This pattern is great for beginning toy knitters.
Note: This pattern will work in any weight yarn. Just make sure that you use the a knitting needle size that will give you a nice, tight fabric (For example, if using worsted weight yarn, try a US 4 or 5 needle).
