Strisce Zephyrette Shawl
This is a simple asymmetrical triangle scarf done in mostly garter stitch. Each section transitions into the next section through a fade sequence. This shawl is intended to use 4 skeins (~900 yards) of Zephyrette, our exclusive blend of baby alpaca, silk and cashmere. This makes a light weight and super-duper soft fabric with amazing drape. The first and last sections have more contrast and so the stripes stand out while, the center sections are 2 yarns with very little contrast so the blending of colors is so subtle and elegant. The last section has a little more interest with some dropped stitch sections and a wonderful scalloped lace edge. You will love making and wearing this wonderful shawl. I named this strisce sbiadite, Strisce for short. It is Italian for Faded Stripes which was my working title and still fits.
