Notes
Sweater is knitted seamlessly and flat (like a cardigan), bottom up. The fronts are separated from back and worked separately, then the back is worked and joined at the shoulders to the fronts. Shoulders are shaped with short rows. A band is picked up around the fronts and back neck, then partially joined from hem to the start of the v-neck with a Modified Three Needle Bind-Off, thus seaming the pullover shut. Remaining stitches are bound off individually to form the neck opening. Sleeves are picked up from armholes and knitted down in the round.
As this is an oversized sweater with a drop shoulder, the sleeves begin lower down the upper arm. The wider the sweater, the shorter the sleeves, thus larger sizes have progressively shorter sleeves. To measure for your personal sleeve length, measure your wingspan (from the centre back neck, down the shoulder, along the bent elbow to the wrist) and subtract half the back width at shoulder.

このセーターは, シームレスで, (カーディガンのように)往復編みで裾から上に向かって編む. 前身頃は脇下で後ろ身頃と分け編んでいく, 次に後ろ身頃を編んで肩で前身頃とはぎ合わせる. 肩は引き返し編みで肩下がりを作る. バンドは左右前身頃と後ろ襟ぐりから目を拾って編んだ後, 引き抜きはぎのような方法で, 前身頃の中心を裾からVネックの始まりまではぎ合わせていく. 残りの目は襟ぐりを形作るように伏せていく. 袖は袖ぐりから目を拾い, 袖口にむかって輪で編んでいく.
このセーターはドロップショルダーでゆったりとしているので, 袖は肩から少し落ちたところから始まっており, セーターの幅が広くなればなるほど, 袖が短くなっていく. 従ってサイズが大きくなると袖が短くなる. 自分の袖の長さを測る場合は, 裄丈(後ろ襟ぐり中心から肩, 曲げた肘を通って手首まで)を測るようにする.
