Structured Unstructured Cowl
I love knitting linen stitch, but in the wrong yarn it can be difficult to wear against the skin. I love working with the Alpaca DK, but sometimes it’s just a little too soft for the shape I want. Then I came upon a solution! Linen stitch with ultra soft Banshee Yarns Alpaca DK is like my structured, unstructured knitting dream! This cowl is, all going well, the forerunner of a dress in the same stitch and yarn!
Ability level
If you can cast-on, cast-off, knit, slip stitches and join in the round, then you can knit this project!
Yarn Substitution:
A number of yarn dyers in the UK dye this base so you should be able to find lots of options for it. Any soft, DK weight yarn will work well from a gauge perspective but do swatch as linen stitch can be a little bit hard to wear against the skin
