Choose finished circumference that allows for 10–20% (2–5” / 2.5–12.5cm, depending on size) of negative ease, depending on personal preference.

16 stitches and 25 rounds over 4” / 10cm in pattern, with larger needles, after blocking.

A different gauge will affect finished measurements and yardage requirements.

Suggested needles: 6mm (US 10), or size needed to obtain above listed gauge; AND 5mm (US 8), or two sizes smaller than size needed to obtain gauge, in preferredstyle for working in the round
