This very huggable stuffed R2D2 is bound to become a
favorite friend for any Star Wars fan. He’s big enough to
be a sidekick, but small enough that he can be carried
around by even the tiniest future Jedis.

Everyone’s favorite astromech droid is knit in the round
from the bottom up. The bottom is knit as a disc and
attached to the cylinder. Details are mostly added using
duplicate stitches - you can use stranded knitting
throughout, if you wish, but the result with duplicate
stitches will have a much cleaner, neater result for most
people. Legs are knit separately and attached.
