With this pattern, you can make my adorable teddy panda bears… IN 2 DIFFERENT SIZES!

To make the large teddy bear, you will need:
145 yards of worsted weight brown yarn
35 yards of worsted weight tan yarn
a 4.00 mm crochet hook, or size 6
two 12.00 MM plastic craft eyes, and a 10.00 MM plastic craft nose (if you are making them for a child under the age of 3 years, then embroider the eyes with black yarn)
hypoallergenic polyester fiber-fill (or poly-fill)
A darning needle

To make Penny the purple Panda (the small bear), you will need:
85 yards of worsted weight purple yarn
5 yards of worsted weight white yarn
a 4.00 mm crochet hook, or size 6
two 9.00 MM plastic craft eyes (if you are making them for a child under the age of 3 years, then embroider the eyes with black yarn)
10” black yarn to embroider the nose
hypoallergenic polyester fiber-fill (or poly-fill)
A darning needle

Stitches and techniques you need to know to make BOTH bears:
Double crochet (abbreviated DC) you will not use the double crochet stitch in the small bear.
Single Crochet (abbreviated SC)
increasing (abbreviated SC 2 IN NEXT ST)
Decreasing (abbreviated DEC)
Magic ring cast on method (abbreviated MR)
