This is a PDF knitting pattern for a little soft Stuffed Teddy - Russian Bear - knitted flat and stitched.
This pattern uses basic knitting stitches and few embroidery stitches for face.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate: You need to know basic Knit and Purl stitches, how to increase and decrease, and how to cast on and cast (bind) off. Stitching up many small pieces and stuffing is involved. The facial features are embroidered and they need some special attention.
Size Bear finished height approximately 10 cm (4 inch).
Materials: Yarn 4 ply (less then 1 oz or 25 gr).
One pair 2.00 mm knitting needles (or the smallest size you have).
Knitter’s needle for sewing seams and embroidery.
DMC stranded embroidery cottons one skein of black for facial features on bear. (2 beads for eyes - optional).
Filling for bear (Preferably in same color or darker).
