This long sexy pair of fingerless mitts features two very distinct stitches that come to us from Japan. The center forearm stitch is quite striking, and is one that you don’t see that often. It is actually a combination of a knit purl stitch with nupps that blend together beautifully. The side stitch incorporates mock cables. But if you are a knit mitt person, this pair will be fun for you to both make and wear and will allow you to text, type and knit in style and warmth.

These mitts are knit using two circular needles, and the stitches are charted only. They are knit from just under the elbows down to the fingers.

There are two methods of making nupps contained within the pattern.

The unique way of knitting the thumb gusset insures maximum movement, allowing you to knit in warmth and style.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting, purling, cabling, and increasing and decreasing).
