Sturdy & Cushy Kindle Sleeve
ERRATA: Please note, on page one the Woven Pattern Knit Flat should be PURL on the rows 2 and 4, not KNIT. It is only KNIT when working in the round. PDF has been updated, the correct file is labeled “V2”.
I wanted a kindle sleeve that was both a sturdy flat fabric but still cushy and protective. This sleeve fits the bill and avoids seams to boot!
Knit seamlessly from the bottom up, the woven stich makes the outside nice and flat while the purl bumps on the inside provide cushy padded protection for your Kindle. The finished dimensions make a very snug case with just enough stretch to fit over the Kindle. This pattern fits the Kindle Keyboard (aka Kindle 3) but can be easily adjusted for other e-readers.
This is my first attempt at writing a pattern, its not very complicated so seemed like a good way to learn how to write a pattern and contribute it to Ravelry. Please do let me know if you find any problems with the pattern.
