Knitted bags are sometimes floppy so I came up with the idea of lining the bag with “shelf liner” (notes in pattern) and also made it reversible. The small size closes with a button, the medium with a zip. You could also use a magnet or large snap. It would be simple to make the bag bigger for market shopping.
The small bag takes all of 4 balls of the handicrafter yarn and the medium, about 1/3- 1/2 of a skein of the Butterfly 10.
