Knit from the bottom up, this sweater starts with a 2 x 2 rib and then begins a rib and tulip cable.
The cable creates a saddle shoulder.
A very easy pattern for those new to knitting and cable stitch.
The pattern is written for 6 sizes to fit chest:
86cm/32”:91cm/36”:97cm/38”:102cm/40”:107cm/42”:112cm/44”.
We used Stylecraft Pearl for the original sample, but, this design can be knit in any D.K./ 8 ply (11 wpi) yarn.
You will need 66:7:7:8:8 100gram balls of D.K. yarn.
1 x 4mm(UK8-USA6) Cable Needle.
4 stitch holders.
