This is a semi-circular shawl featuring the traditional Godmother’s Lace edging. It is named for my godmother, my Aunt Bonnie, who was one of the strongest people I ever knew. Styrkur is the Icelandic word for strength.
Finished Size: 26” depth, 62” wingspan
(Instructions included to modify size)

Needles: 32” circular needle, size 5 US (3.75mm), or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 13 stitches/24 rows per 4 inches in wet-blocked stockinette stitch; gauge is not critical for this item but will affect size, yardage used, and drape.
