Suadela Stole is worked from one end to the other following a charted pattern. Border is knitted at the same time as the main body.

This pattern is easier than it looks and can be knit in any yarn and in any length you want it to be, though I recommend lace, light fingering or fingering weight yarn to get an airy and light result. Wool, alpaca, mohair, silk, linen or even cotton; the choice is yours.

The width of the stole is at minimum 58 stitches and at maximum 76 stitches. The gauge is only a suggestion. Bigger gauge produces a wider stole and vice versa, e.g. 15 sts per 4 inches results a 19,5 inches (50 cm) wide stole and 21 stitches per 4 inches a 14 inches (36 cm) wide stole. Note that bigger needle size increases the yardage.

Suadela-huivin pitsimalli on helpompi neuloa kuin miltä näyttää, sillä alun ja lopun kavennusosien välissä sama 36 kerroksen mallikerta toistuu. Huivi neulotaan alusta loppuun pitsimallikaavion mukaan.

Langan ja puikot voit valita mielesi mukaan, suosittelen kuitenkin melko ohutta lankaa ja normaalia paksumpia puikkoja, jotta huivista tulisi kevyt ja ilmava. Huomioi kuitenkin, että paksummat puikot lisäävät langanmenekkiä ja että mitä pienempi neuletiheys on, sitä leveämpi huivista tulee. Esim. tiheydellä 15 s/10 cm huivista tulee 50 cm leveä. Huivin leveimmässä kohdassa on 76 silmukkaa.
