NAME ‘SUBLIME’
This beret’s namesake ‘Sublime’ is after one of the most beautiful lookouts in the Blue Mountains. This stunning place with 360 degree views is reached through a windy stone path and is the backdrop used for the photo shoot. The rugged texture of the cables mirror the mountainous terrain. And it’s set against a garter stitch background that mimics the masses of beautiful blue gums found in the forests here. All in all Sublime is only description for this magical place and the feeling embodied by this stylish beret.

SIZES
This knitting pattern has been designed to fit sizes: Baby - 6 months (16”/41cm circumference), Toddler (18”/46cm circumference) Child/Teenager (20”/51cm Circumference), Small Adult (22”/ 56cm Circumference), and Large Adult (24”/61cm Circumference).

Unstretched Circumference of Beret: Baby 13.5”/34.5cm (Toddler 16”/40.5cm, Child/Teen 18”/47cm, Small Adult 21.5”/54.5cm, Large Adult 23.5”/60cm)
Hat Depth from Brim to Crown: Baby 6”/15cm (Toddler 6.5”/16.5cm, Child/Teen 8”/20cm, Small Adult 8.5”/21.5cm, Large Adult 9.5”/24cm)

GAUGE
12sts and 18 rows to a 4”/10cm by 4”/10cm square over garter stitch using 8.00mm/US11 needles.

MATERIALS
• Baby 60m/66yds (Toddler 80m/87yds, Child/Teen 100m/109yds, Small Adult 130m/142yds, Large Adult 140m/153yds) of 14ply or Super Bulky yarn. The berets pictured are knitted in Australian wool.
• 6.50mm/US10.5 circular with 60cm cable or double pointed needles.
• 8.00mm/US11 circular with 60cm cable or double pointed needles.
• Stitch Marker.
• Wool Needle.
