This amigurumi Ampeel inspired from the brilliant game Subnautica is relatively quick and easy to make.

The finished fish should come out at aprox 6 inches (15 cm) long and 2 inches (5 cm) wide.
If you use 4mm wool like I did then these approximations will be accurate.

As you traverse the darker parts of the ocean, maybe searching for plants or caves, you can see a beautiful light display provided by an Ampeel! Just made sure it’s not making a b-line for you - it’s touch is quite a shocker! ;)
So why not show them some love by making one for yourself? It’d also make a brilliant gift for any Subnautica fan :)

Stitches used: SC, INC, DEC

I needle felted the eyes for mine, however you can use a magic ring, felt or embroider them instead.
