This amigurumi Hoopfish inspired from the brilliant game Subnautica is very quick and easy to make.

The finished fish should come out at aprox 6 inches (16 cm) long and 4.5 inches (12 cm) wide from fin to fin.
If you use 4mm wool like I did then these approximations will be accurate.

Ever found yourself at the ocean depth, with your little flashlight desperately trying to light your way, and suddenly a school of Hoopfish swim by to illuminate the place up? Best feeling ever!!
So why not show them some love by making one for yourself? It’d also make a brilliant gift for any Subnautica fan :)

Stitches used: SC, INC, DEC, CH

For the details on the body, I needle felted mine, but felt would make an excellent substitute. Embroidery is also another option.
