A chevron-pattern defines itself by waves, created by increasing and decreasing on de same places in each row. I designed this chevron shawl to be very subtle, with a light and lace-like texture.

At the beginning, it’s important to pay close attention, but after a few rounds you’ll find the rhythm and it will be a very relaxing project.

Level: intermediate

It will work beautifully with all kinds of yarn, but I used:

Materials:
-Sport weight yarn, I used 4 balls Durable Forest (187 m/ 50 g), color: #4011
-Crochet hook 3 mm

Example size: 32 cm or 12.6 inch wide 163 cm or 64 inch long, but it’s very easy to adjust the measurements.
