Subtle Lines is a knit to wear as a layering piece over t-shirts, skinny jumpers, dresses or high waisted pants and jeans. It is so named as it features an easy-to-knit and memorise subtle texture pattern that runs in vertical lines on the body and sleeves.

Yarn
The sample shown is knitted in Biches & Buches Le Petit Lambswool, but you can choose to knit it in any fingering weight/4 ply yarn. The sample, knitted in size 2, used 4.5 skeins of yarn.

Slip Stitch: 28 sts / 38 rows in 10 cm / 4 inches on 3.5 mm (US 4)

Gauge of slip stitch might be slightly different but can be easily blocked to same gauge as stockinette.
Bands

1 x 1 rib: approximately 38 rows in 10 cm / 4 inches on 3 mm (US 2.5)

Construction
It is a seamless, top down construction with a V-neck, a welted ‘seam’ that flows from the dropped shoulder down each sleeve, and it has pockets incorporated into the rib band.

Sizes and ease
It comes in 8 sizes that measure from 97 cm / 38 inches through to 132 cm / 52 inches finished bust.

As ease is a personal choice, choose the size with the amount of ease you desire. This cardigan is intended to have a relaxed fit and will fit well with positive ease anywhere between 8 cm / 3 inches and 20 cm / 8 inches.
