The Subtle Spring Tee pairs a botanically inspired lace pattern with a yarn perfectly suited for spring: Cotton, extrafine Merino, and cashmere will keep you warm on brisk mornings and cool on sunny afternoons. This tee is knitted from the top down with a circular yoke.

Yarn Fibra Natura Ravello (75% cotton, 16% extrafine Merino wool, 9% recycled cashmere; 207 yd 189 m/13/4 oz 50 g): #104 Soft Clay, 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11) balls. Yarn distributed by Universal Yarn.

Needles Sizes 2 (2.75 mm) and 3 (3.25 mm): 16” and 24–32” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Marker (m); stitch holders; waste yarn for provisional CO; size D/3 (3.25 mm) crochet hook; tapestry needle.

  • This tee is worked in the round from the top down, beginning with a provisional cast-on. The neckband stitches are picked up from the provisional cast-on and worked in the round.

  • When increasing for the yoke, change to a longer circular needle when there are too many stitches to fit comfortably on the 16” circular needle.
