This is not a beginner pattern, but I tried to add as much detail as possible, with easy to follow written instructions as well as step by step pictures.

This pattern is customizable. Use any yarn weight as long as you match your hook. The size will depend on the yarn weight and hook size you choose. I use roughly 1000 meters in fine / fingering weight yarn with a 3.25mm hook. This creates a shawl of approximately 20’ from the tip of the triangle to the middle of the straight edge by approximately 50’ from corner to corner of the straight edge.
