The Subway Cowl is knit seamlessly in the round, with 2 contrasting colors of worsted weight yarn.

It is a great introduction to stranded knitting, using 2 colors.

Finished Measurements - 24” circumference x 9” high

Materials

Yarn - 200 yds worsted weight yarn, divided
(100 yds in each of 2 colors)
Needles - size 6 circular needles, 24” (for ribbing) and
size 8 circular needles, 24” (for main body)

Recommended gauge is 4.5 sts per inch in stockinette stitch, on the larger needles.
Exact gauge is not critical, but will affect finished size and amount of yarn used.

The circumference and/or height of the cowl can easily be adjusted by adding more pattern repeats.

Required skills are casting on, working in the round, knitting with 2 colors, working from a chart, purling, and binding off.

Listing is for a downloadable pdf version of the pattern, only.
